Covad Wireless is currently seeking motivated, professional sales people to join our regional sales organization based in San Jose, Camarillo and Garden Grove, CA as well as Las Vegas, NV. Sales territory includes Greater San Francisco Area, East Bay, South Bay, Santa Barbara, Ventura County, Los Angeles County, Orange County and Las Vegas. Proven sales experience, initiative, motivation and professionalism are key attributes of the successful candidate. The ability to learn and gain a strong understanding of Internet services, wireless and telecommunications is needed. Previous ISP and/or telecom experience is desirable. - Accurate forecasting and planning
- Close first deal within 30 days
- Achieve monthly quota after initial ramp up.

Wireless Broadband Installers
Covad Wireless is currently seeking motivated Installation individuals for entry level field technicians at our Camarillo, Garden Grove and San Jose office. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and good communication skills are key attributes of the successful candidate. Previous installation or construction experience is a plus.
The successful candidate will have:
- A strong understanding of hand tools.
- Willing to climb tall towers.
- Excellent troubleshooting and logic skills
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Excellent follow-through ability.
- Ability and willingness to learn additional technical skills quickly
- Excellent oral communication skills
- The ability to work well with a team or alone if necessary.
- Strong personal initiative and self direction
- Excellent organization skills
- High energy, enthusiasm and motivation
- RF knowledge is a plus, but not required
- Customer service oriented.
Responsibilities of the position include:
- Installing wireless and network equipment on top of building or customer's roof. These equipment includes Antennas, Routers, and network switches.
- Running the horizontal cabling from the roof equipment to the customer's edge device.
- Configuration of microwave radios at customer sites. And testing link quality as well as throughput.
- Professional and courteous interactions with customers
